
The Strength of Music concert will take place on January 25 at 4:00 p.m. at the Fox Theater and is the second performance in the Spokane Youth Symphony’s 2025–2026 United in Music concert series. This season marks 76 years of the Spokane Youth Symphony providing exemplary orchestral education to youth throughout the Inland Northwest.
The program features performances by all four Spokane Youth Symphony orchestras: Spokane Youth Strings, conducted by John Marshall; Spokane Youth Sinfonietta, conducted by Jerilynn Harris; Spokane Youth Philharmonic, conducted by Roberta Bottelli; and the Spokane Youth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Philip Baldwin. Repertoire includes Winter by Edward German, The Distant Princess by Alexander Tcherpenin, and Weber’s Overture to Der Freischütz.
